Prim. Zlatko Kalabić, MD, PhD

Specialist in Neuropsychiatry

A member of the Psychiatric Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Medical Chamber of the Tuzla Canton. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tuzla, obtaining a degree in General Medicine. Completed a specialization in Neuropsychiatry at the University Clinical Center in Tuzla in 2006.

He has worked in various positions within the Health Center, including home care services, emergency medical assistance, and family medicine. From 2006 to 2015, he was a neuropsychiatrist at the Mental Health Center, where he promoted mental health for individuals, groups, and the community. From 2015 to 2023, he served as the Head of the Mental Health Center at the Public Health Institution Health Center Tuzla. In 2023-2024, he held the position of Assistant Director for Medical Affairs at the same institution.

He has completed training as a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist, preparatory training in Group Analysis, "Introduction to Psychoanalysis" training, "Community Mental Health Center" training, and training in "NEI - Neuro-Emotional Integration," as well as workshops on veteran therapy, nonviolent communication, and treatment facilitation for psychosocial interventions for domestic violence offenders.

He has participated in multidisciplinary team training for coordinated mental health care and continues his professional education in health management. He holds certificates in quality improvement systems, safety, and accreditation in healthcare and has completed training as an external evaluator for healthcare institutions. He is an active participant in mental health projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
