She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pristina, earning the degree of Doctor of Medicine. She completed her Master’s studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Foča, University of East Sarajevo, defending a thesis on the topic “Prognostic Significance of Neuroendocrine Differentiation in Colorectal Cancer.” She completed her subspecialization in Cytology at the Clinical Center of Novi Sad.
She began her professional career in the Department of Pathology and, alongside her clinical work, has been actively involved in teaching at the Faculty of Medicine, University of East Sarajevo, in the Department of Pathological Anatomy, holding the position of Senior Assistant.
Her primary areas of interest include the diagnosis of malignant and premalignant lesions, oncological pathology, and cytological diagnostics. She is the author and co-author of numerous professional and scientific articles published in domestic and international journals and actively participates in professional congresses and educational programs both in the country and abroad.
She is a member of the Medical Chamber of the Republic of Srpska, the Association of Pathologists and Cytologists of Serbia, and the European Society of Pathology.
