Neurosurgery Specialist

Primarisu Avdulah Hasanagić, MD, MSc is a neurosurgery specialist with long-standing experience across all areas of neurosurgery. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo, where he also completed his neurosurgery residency at the Clinic for Neurosurgery of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS). He continued his academic training with a master's degree, defending his thesis in 2013 on comparing surgical outcomes in patients with lumbar disc herniation. His clinical career was spent at the KCUS Clinic for Neurosurgery, where he earned the title of Primarijus in 2011, alongside international appointments as a senior neurosurgery specialist at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar, and as a neurosurgery consultant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2018–2024). He is an international member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (USA) and a member of the Association of Neurosurgeons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has pursued professional development through numerous international seminars and training programmes in Germany, China, Austria, the USA, Turkey and Sweden.
