Edin Prelević, MD

Specialist in Radiodiagnostics

Specialist in radiodiagnostics with significant experience in the application of modern diagnostic methods, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal radiology and sports medicine.
He gained professional experience through clinical work in healthcare institutions in the country and abroad, with continuous professional development in the field of advanced radiological techniques, CT and MR diagnostics, as well as ultrasound methods. He has further specialized through training in MR knee imaging, whole-body CT diagnostics and advanced radiological techniques, as well as through participation in international professional conferences, including the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.

His professional work covers a wide range of radiological procedures, including ultrasound, X-ray, CT and MR whole-body diagnostics, as well as ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, MR and CT arthrography, and PRP treatments.
He was a member of the kidney transplant team at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, where he participated in color Doppler evaluations.

He served as Head of the Radiology Department at PZU Eurofarm, where he made a significant contribution to the improvement of diagnostic procedures and the development of radiological services.

In the field of sports medicine, he works as a consultant radiologist for national representative and club sports teams, including FK Sarajevo and FK Željezničar, where he is involved in the diagnosis and monitoring of sports injuries.

He is also actively involved in academic work as an assistant in the subjects of anatomy and radiology at SSST – Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo, and is the author and co-author of scientific papers in the field of radiology published in international journals.
