In the 2014/2015 academic year, the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Sarajevo introduced a new twelve-semester (six-year) Doctor of Medicine study program in English. Graduates receive a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
From the very beginning, the SSST Department of Medicine has been regionally competitive and boasts state-of-the-art laboratories, equipment, and software, along with highly qualified and skilled professors and instructors.
Through collaboration with our university partners and the activities of the ASA Institute, we are developing and implementing comprehensive education and professional development programs for all stakeholders united in our common mission – to improve the quality of life and healthcare in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
