Renovated building that housed the first chemical factory in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Along with the construction of the ASA hospital in Džemala Bijedića Street, the complete reconstruction of the historical building “Astro” was also carried out, announced the Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality, Semir Efendić.
The first chemical factory in Bosnia and Herzegovina built during the Austro-Hungarian Empire was located in this facility.
The Astro facility will house a scientific institute for medical research and education.
